About Daremedy.com
Daremedy.com was created in 2003 when I first began my interest in web design. It was first used as a testing ground for me to create outrageous layouts and explore all of the features that HTML had to offer. I kept scouring the internet, looking at well-designed websites and asking myself "how'd they do that?". I applied concepts that I learned to my own site. I tried to include everything I was learning onto Daremedy.com and it got pretty messy! Eventually, when I learned about PHP and mySql, I implemented a site with a solid foundation based on those languages. The goal was to make Daremedy.com a personal site that showcased my talents in web design.
This site eventually evolved into something much greater than I imagined. My constant fascination with other websites kept luring me into designing new features for my site. My layout often changed faces on a monthly basis. Before I knew it, I created a blog subdomain, article database, forum, image hosting service, a few applications for me to use for university, and so much more.
Where is Daremedy.com headed? My goal is to keep this site up-to-date with the latest design concepts. For instance, I have recently changed the table structured design into CSS. I have made a strong effort to make sure this site is compliant with internet standards and is optimized for search engines. The primary focus of the site will be on web design, offering articles and information to help other designers. Coming from a computer science background, I'm always interested in new innovations in technology, and I make every effort to post any important information on this site. Daremedy.com is definitely a technological website, but I want to keep it fun and very easy to read. I'm happy with the progression it has made from its inception and I cant wait to see where it goes from here.
