What is this tool?
This tool validates your code with W3C and checks to see that your design meets current web design standards.

Why is it useful?
Making sure your site meets the latest web design standards is key to becoming noticed around the web. If your site is coded properly and includes necessary information, it may help your search engine performance and you may get more visitors. This is a great starter tool to see how your designs stack up again current web design guidelines.

Many of the webmaster tools have been revamped using AJAX. You'll find that the results are much more easier to read and output on a real-time basis (i.e. the page does not need to be refreshed). Just as a shameless plug, for you programmers that are not aware of AJAX, this is an extremely useful tool with tons of great features.
